Simple Sunday

It's been a crazy busy weekend with a big workout session, a surprise trip to the ballet (thanks to my step-sister!), a wedding reception (congrats, Vicki and Ed!) and a photoshoot. And, quite deservedly, a nice nap and a lot of pizza. I'm now in bed trying to get some work done but wanted to squeeze in a quick blog post before the week is over!

I'm feeling quiet tonight so just wanted to share with with you these photos taken by Hanna Kristina. I love this knits peplum and cute bow on the back. Perfect for simple Sunday style, right?

Isn't the handmade brooch lovely? It was part of my bridesmaids outfit when my best girl got married last year. I like to wear it when I'm especially missing her!

One Skirt, Five Ways: Jules B edition!

 

 

 Time for another One Skirt, Five Ways! This week I've gone for this Raoul multi check mini skirt from my new online discovery Jules B. I've been obsessed with kilts and checks lately. This cutie is on sale and is now £57 down from £198! 

Inadvertently - although, I suspect this was heavily influenced by the skirt itself - this is an ENTIRELY black, white and red One Skirt, Five Ways. Hope you like that colour combo, kids!

 

 

Sure, these Miista Batilda boots probably make more than their fair share of appearances on Wolf Whistle but, heck, I love them. I think the skull studs by John Greed make for a perfect pinch of goth!

This wouldn't be a 1S5W without some kind of print explosion! I don't think these prints clash - I think they're awesome. Did you see me wearing stripes and polka dots together recently? I love doing this!

I've wanted a pair of these boots for ages. Love this All Saints top! (Did you see my All Saints #TheBikerProject recent post?) I'd probably team this with a simple silver cuff, too.

Sunshine Yellow

It's Spring! At last! I think! I was getting so sick of this whole Winter-without-end thing that the sunshine this week has been a serious tonic to me. I'm so starved of Vitamin D that even my Winter foundation is getting too dark for me. Not cool, my friends!

This outfit is one of my go-to Spring looks. Despite always saying that I'm not actually into yellow, this yellow dress is one of my favourites. I've had it for years and always like to pull it out when the sun is shining. Here I am wearing it two years ago, in fact! And it fits like a dream. Well, it will again once I've shaken off some of my Winter sloth. URGH. Summer, come at me!

I'm completely obsessed with my beautiful Emma bag. Isn't it a classic? Huge thanks to the lovely L.K. Bennett team for picking it for me! In fact, I'm really into all of the L.K. Bennett accessories this season. The shoes are comfortable and stylish, too. My favourites are these little contrast toe pumps in blush and navy. I want them both!
