This year I was excited to be invited back to the Clothes Show Live with Echo Falls. I had loads of fun last year - check out the talk I gave here! - and it was nice to go and have more time to wander around this year. Echo Falls kindly gave me some cash to buy a new outfit and I bought the River Island top I'd been lusting over. Love it so much!
It was really interesting. I'm already a big fan of Poppy but it was great to hear the stylists and Becca talk and get to ask some questions. And I was totally into Karl's outfit!
As always, there was TOO MUCH awesomeness to get round everything but here are a few of my edited highlights. I didn't get to see the actual catwalk show last year but I didn't think I'd missed much. Um, I was kinda wrong about that, you guys! Stooshe performed and were great and the show was pretty IMMENSE. Super high energy with lots of clothes and lots of dancing, it told the story of a weekend in the countryside and it was loads of fun. And the dancers were wearing the boots I had on, haha!
I forgot to snap a shot but I also spent ages getting tempted by onesies (!) at the OnePiece stall. Those are some seriously lux lounge wear - I'm tempted by the navy blue! If you're tempted too, you can get 15% off using my code WOLFWHISTLE.
I always love checking out the recent fashion grads at the Clothes Show. Collette Dobson from Derby University really stood out to me with her Transparent Light collection.
And I was also well into the awesomeness of Gabriella Piccolo at the Graduate ASOS Marketplace section. She'll be selling soon on ASOS so keep an eye out for her. I love all this super shiny gold!
I really loved the Pretty Nostalgic stall which was charmingly decorated. Pretty Nostalgic is a gorgeous bi-monthly home and lifestyle magazine celebrating vintage, traditional and sustainable ways of living, with a huge focus on buying British.
I think lot of you would be really into it. Get your copies here!
The vintage village at CSL is always a treat and I spent far, farrrr too long falling in love with one of a kind pieces. The Oxfam Fashion stall was full of bargains and this perfectly battered shearling jacket for £30 was my top pick. Couldn't resist a sneaky selfie!
Vintage jewels at Vintage Tramp and high sequins at Bohemian Goddess Vintage.
Thanks to Beautiful Brows for doing my eyebrows with their ace new Fab Brows product. I need a template like this, I think. I got momentarily distracted from clothes by the tasty sweets at Mallow Tree!
I loved everything at Wanderland but especially the rings. Want them all!
I'm a long time Junk Jewels fan and it was great to meet some of the team and get to look at all their beautiful pieces up close. I came away with a HUGE wishlist. Love these bangles!
I could have easily spent an hour just looking at all their many charms!
Huge love as always to the Echo Falls team, with special props to Louise, for a super fun day!
