Ready for another edition of One Skirt, Five Ways? Hell yeah, chums!
I'm going to be a bridesmaid when my dearest friends Richard and Somerset get married in September and we're busy shopping for bridesmaid dresses at the moment. Their colour scheme is coral and navy - which I love, fricking LOVELOVELOVE - and it's got me thinking about coral in a new way. The shops are full of it at the moment! And, as the weather is the most depressing thing of all time right now, coral is giving me a nice little lift.
Which is why I'm PROPER into this £260 Carven skirt. Ok, ok, suuuure: it might be orange rather than coral. But orange is a long term love of mine and either way I've picked this flirty, frilly uplifting number to be my next pick for One Skirt, Five Ways. Onto the looks!
I defy you to not be into this awesome Clover Canyon print. CC are riding high on my ones to watch list at the moment as are the wonderful Kzeniya. I have one of their clutches and I LOVE it. Watch out for it in an outfit post soon!
I saw these Caroline Issa for L.K. Bennett accessories at a bloggers preview (read the post here!) and knew I wanted to make an outfit around them at some point. I think they work perfectly with this skirt!
Those shoes are awesome. I wanted to let that mismash of colour and pattern do the talking so I did some colour blocking and tied it together with this white clutch. Note to self: get a white clutch for Spring. Or for now, whatever. Winter white is my current obsession!
I would never wear this - those shell blouses do me no favours at all: they like do me negative fabours - but how pretty is this? So feminine and nice! If you do wear this, make sure to be extra tough to balance it all out.
I have totally saved the best for last. I can picture myself swanning around in this just as soon as the weather gets nice. Not that I need another denim jacket, mind. Moving made me realise I have half a dozen denim jackets already!
Which is your favourite look? Let me know in the comments!
