I've done a handful of these One Skirt, Five Ways posts now (with an ASOS checked skirt, a Phase Eight red pencil skirt and a Next polka dot skirt) but this is the first time I've done it with a skirt I actually own. See me in it here!
I've styled it a whole different bunch of ways myself but I really wanted to do a post on it, especially as it's now in the sale! The skirt was £40 but is now £25 ... actually it's £15! I've worn this skirt absolutely loads and it is totally worth £15. If you're a 12, 14 or 16 - snap it up HIGH SPEED.
Onto the looks!
Like I said in my last post, I'm into tweed in a big way in a moment. There's something in me that's definitely feeling this modern ladylike way of dressing lately. SO unlike me and yet, SO GOOD. I want to recreate this with my gorgeous Next boots and a cheaper version of this jacket - I did actually buy something similar in style in a charity shop recently!

I rarely do all black but holy crap, it can be super chic, right? I loved Michael from Anastasia & Duck looking incredible in an all-black outfit recently. I think the textures here make this work. God, I want all of these pieces so hard!

I worry about black with yellow, what with that whole DO I LOOK LIKE A BEE thing. So uncasual. My basic solution is to temper it with white to make it a bit softer. And I love those shoes!

Cashmere jumper // Fleur B (coming soon)
Navy and black is one of my favourite colour combinations, partly because you're not SUPPOSED to put them together and I love being deliberately contrary. I love them together but I have this thing where it has to look reeeeallly deliberate and not like you were wearing all black and accidentally grabbed a pair of navy tights on your way out the door (aka me last week.) And, damn, I love those shoes.

Sorry, guys: I just couldn't resist pairing that top with that clutch. Teamed with the simple skirt and a gorgeous pair of Miista shoes, I think this is perfectly eclectic. Who said that two faced was a bad thing, huh?
