OK, in all honesty, L.K. Bennett is not a brand I've ever thought much about. But when an invite to pop in and see their new SS13 collection landed in my inbox, I ended up window shopping on the website for longer than I'd like to admit. I'm in love with this Jazz sequin evening dress!
And SS13 didn't disappoint in the flesh, either. Sure, it's more grown-up than I am usually attracted to but the clothes are classic without being stuffy and the prints are beautiful, especially the vintage prints L.K. Bennett have bought back for their signature court shoes. The Black Ribbon collection above particularly caught my eye!
And I just love the amazing Caroline Issa collaboration shoes and bag. The embroidery is beautiful and the shoes have pom-poms. POM-POMS, YOU GUYS. These are happy shoes!
This teal maxi dress is perfect for any season. Seriously: I could instantly see myself dressing it up or down to wear in any weather. It was gorgeous!
Busy picking some of my favourite pieces from SS13: a surprisingly sexy red draped top, vintage printed court shoes and the most amazing leather wrap around skirt that has SHOT to the top of my wishlist. HELLO BABY.
Comparing cut-out silhouettes with Natasha and Maria. They were done extrememly fast by the very talented Alison Russell who is one of only five (!) artists in the country doing this. I love mine!
They kindly - very kindly! - gave me a Emma leather bag in tan, which is truely beautiful. I can't wait to start showing it to you in outfit posts. Thank you, L.K. Bennett!
