Thursday night I had a lovely time at the Wallis bloggers event, hanging out with my blogger chums Sarah, Becky and Maria and prancing around in the gorgeous Christmas collection. I'm a coat fiend so naturally I made a beeline for them! I fell in love with several pieces and popped in front of Phil from Street Peeper and his camera to pose in two of my favourites.
First up is this incredible houndstooth coat! I loved the oversized swing cut and the soft fabric and I kinda love even more how it's on special offer this weekend. I can definitely see myself in this, teamed with stompy boots, my perfect black Marks and Spencer trousers and a polo neck jumper, which I am weirdly getting back into, having not worn one in years. Whatever. I am a creature of whims.

(everything else in my photo is mine, kids, except those natty glasses)
Then that cutie Becky put on an outfit I loved and HAD to show you. I absolutely love this, especially the spots/stripes combo. All Becky needs to add is a red lip!
Becky wears:
Black and white stripe fluffy jumper // was £35, now £24.50
Black PU pencil skirt // was £35, now £28
Black and red pointed court shoe // £45
(tights models own!)
MY TURN AGAIN NOW. Ahem.
Here I'm wearing a gorgeous tweed coat with detactable faux fur collar. I would totes wear the collar with other things too, although I prefer it hanging loose rather than tied in a bow. (I'm fussy like that.) This was a total great all-rounder coat that I could see myself reaching for a lot and I loved how it looked open AND closed, which is something I always look for!

(everything else miiiiiiine)
The pieces at Wallis are on special offer for this weekend only - so if you're tempted, snap them up now! I wish it wasn't just before payday for me because there is TOTALLY always room for another coat in my heart, even if there definitely isn't room in my bedroom. Which coat did you prefer?
