Next have asked me to have a sneaky little look-peek at their new Autumn/Winter collection and I can confirm that I like it very much. Especially this skirt (£16!). And these boots. Oh - and this bag. Next isn't a shop I always remember to go in but that might change all this season!
I also really like this polka dot skirt and decided to do a few looks centered around it.
One skirt worn five ways! You ready?
For Autumn/Winter 12, we're calling this colour bordeaux but that's not what I call it. I call it MY FAVOURITE COLOUR EVER. Have you seen the colour of this blog? Precisely.
So yeah, I'm pleased about this "trend" (aka my life) and will be taking this opportunity to get more bordeaux into my life and into my wardrobe. How delicious is that leather tote? Very, that's how much.
Skirt // Roll neck // Gloves (AW12 - dropping soon!) // Leather tote // Shoes (AW12)
Next look: the 1990s! The 1990s won't die, you guys. Well - fashion wise, at least. They're still hanging around like some kind of a hipster plague but honestly, I don't really mind. I couldn't resist grunging down such a gorgeous skirt. I would totally wear this entire look!
Skirt // Beanie // Jumper // Backpack // Boots (AW12)
I designed this next outfit for Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl. Occasionally I get the urge to pretend to be Blair Waldorf and this is what I'd like to wear when I'm doing it. I love the headband. It isn't available to buy yet but damn, I'm coming for you, baby!
Skirt // Blouse // Headband (AW12) // Loafers // Clutch
I can get a bit matchy-matchy at times so it's good to mix it up. I like the mis-match of this and I always love a denim shirt with a dressier skirt. I like to wear mine denim shirt with some sequins!
(Also, as an aside, I can totally imagine this outfit on Jen of A Little Bird. Dreaming up outfits for my bloggers friends is totally one of my less productive hobbies.)
Skirt // Denim shirt // Chelsea boots // Leather satchel // Necklace
And last but not least, I've gone for something both super sexy AND completely covered up. I may have been a little bit inspired by both the Olympic dressage teams and also Jilly Coopers' Riders (...although that's a completely different sort of riding. Ahem.) I love a flat riding boot and these beautiful over the knees tick all the boxes for me.
Skirt // Shirt // Boots // Hat (AW12 - soon!) // Clutch
This is a sponsored post but I've only picked things I like, of course.
Win/win, yeahhhh?
So - one skirt, five looks. Tell me which one you like best in the comments!
