I'm not sure I believe in astrology... Well, sometimes I do. Like when Mercury is in retrograde and suddenly everything technological I own decides to up and die. Or sometimes when a horroscope gives me chills! I've had one that was SO exactly what I needed to hear that I cut it out. It's been stuck to my wall for two years, just reminding me.
But I never really felt like a Capricorn when I was younger. They seemed too sensible, too boring, too rigid... Practical? Conventional? TIDY?! I am none of these things!
But I guess it's good not to be too easily pigeon-holed. Besides, that was before I put my own spin on the starsign. I think I'm growing into being a Capricorn - and this gorgeous shirt helps!
Wildfox very kindly sent me this Capricorn Astrology Fox tee recently with the slogan Lean On Me - after all, Capricorns are supposed to be reliable, sensible and empathatic. (I swear I am at least one of these things - guess which?)
Originally there was supposed to be twelve bloggers - one for each starsign with a slogan to match - but sadly this fell through. But I still thought I'd represent! I particulary love the Scorpio's 'Secret Heart' and Sagitarius' 'Happy Go Lucky' tees but I'm probably slightly biased as they were the star signs I used to wish I was. (Is it weird to admit that? They always felt more me . But it did turn out that I have Sagitarius rising or the moon in my sign or, uh, something...)
And how good is Leo's 'Me First' tee? Haha!

(It just shows how supportive my mum is of me and my ridiculous fashion whims that when I last went home and said 'I want to come to Tesco with you later because I can't stop thinking about the bright pink cycling shorts from the kids section!' she just smiled and said 'Great idea!' Hahahaha. I love you, Mum.)
I never would have thought I'd wear anything I'd think of as a slogan tee but this is such a lovely design and so perfectly cut - oversized and super soft - that I kind of love it. It's helping me change my mind about slogans and about my starsign!
After all, if being a Capricorn was good enough for Jesus... Right?

I'm hit and miss with slogan tees but this one is a definite hit and I love how you're wearing it with crazy cycling shorts, they're amazing! I'm a libra but I don't at all believe in star signs, I honestly think it's a load of rubbish

My starsign got changed recently - apparently they'd been calculating them wrong or something. I used to be on the cusp between Leo and cancer, now I'm just cancer. I don't know what this means for my personality, except perhaps borderline schizophrenia! I love this shirt, especially with the fluoro shorts, they add such a funky edge. x
