I wish my life had nothing bad in it. That's kind of an impossible task, though. But luckily for me, my life does have Nothing Bad (proper noun, yeeeah) in it.
It's a new online magazine that is the brainchild of Katie Coleslaw and Georgina Bacchus, two mega-talented and mega-hot babes who are endlessly inspiring in a whole range of media, including Katie's photographs, Georgina's prop designs and both of their excellent/ridiculous DJ sets.
The first issue is fantastic, featuring articles on the girls from Young & Lost, Biba (written by Mademoiselle Robot) , The Catoralist and an amazing culture section which I lovelovelove, not to mention loads more.
And speaking of love, how amazing is this image from their Valentine's Day shoot?
Oh and, yeah - I'll be blogging for them there, too. Read my first article At 13 I Just Wanted Boobs!
aha, you know at 13 i wasn't even beginning to think about boobs, that came later (the thought, but never the boobs sadly, well, i used to think sadly, and now i'm quite pleased to have a modest share), but these children in the blogosphere creep me out a bit, it's a bit strange, aren't they building dens outside somewhere and still collection lego?
the only real worry i have (asides from the jealousy, YES i feel that too, aha) is that people will start looking at their beautiful smooth pre-pubescent skin and slim limbs etc and beginning to think that's normal. i'd rather see actual 13 year olds having a go at fashion than 21 year olds who are the size and shape of 13 year olds having a go. children could be the new airbrushing. I HOPE NOT :/
p.s: i know pocket money has probably increased since my day, but how do they afford to be fashion bloggers?! i grew up in the wrong decade, clearly.

Rosie: I don't know how they afford it! Rich parents? Great thrifting skills?
I see what you mean about children vs airbrushing, but I think we'll be alright for a bit. 40 year olds with the money won't want to buy something advertised by a 13 year old, right?
