I love Zana's blog Garbage Dress and I love these beautiful shots she styled for Lurve magazine. Stunning, right? (I kind of want to be Zana a little though, to be honest.)
I miss this blog. Deadline tomorrow and I'm nearly done!

Sorry I've not been around much, guys! I've got a lot of uni work stress going on. Things as usual will be resumed here mid next week, hopefully... after I've slept for a few days.
Just wanted to write quickly about these sneakers that I proper lol'ed at. Gold for command personnel, red for engineering and communications and blue for science and medical - it's Star Trek trainers!
You can buy them (provided you're in America) from here at Paylessfor only $50, which I personally think is a bargain. Think of all the geeky little in-jokes you and strangers will have when you're wearing these bad boys. (Man, I wish we had Payless. They always have stuff I end up getting really excited about.)
I was just trying to think which colour I'd be, but to be honest, I don't think I'd have ever made it out of the Fleet Academy. At least I know my limitations, right?
It's like feminism never happened. Brazilian lingerie company Lindelucy have created a range of underwear with a GPS tracking device system for the man who can never learn to trust.
The device is about the size of a pager and is neatly hidden under her hand in this advert. Oh - and it's completely hideous. Crimes against women, fashion, taste, decency and society in 3...

I borrowed this image from Coco Perez, here. I'm not sorry about that, but I am sorry that this even exists. No-one needs to know someone else's exact lattitude and longitude, do they? If you can't trust her, PICK BETTER.
Would you wear this if your partner bought it for you? I want to know!
YES.
YES.
YES.

Something nice that popped into my inbox this morning was a little reminder that the second issue of Antler magazineis now online. I was impressed with Antler the first time around and I think it's possibly even more adorable this time!
And there's even an article on one of my all-time favourite ever books (seriously guys! This is like a Top 5 book for me, even out of the hundreds and hundreds that I've read. You don't know how excited I got!)
All the photo shoots were good, if maybe not exactly highly original... but this one really stood out. Monochromatic beauty definitely and originality in spades!
This is definitely the thing that's made me smile the most so far today: crayon rings by designer Timothy Liles. They make me giddy with glee!
For a set of 8 rings it costs $50 for you American lovelies over at The Future Perfect or £31 at Oye Modern for you English beauties. I can see the green, orange and blue getting a lot of wear on my fingers. Which is your favourite colour?
My urge to crop-top-ify things is running rampant lately but SRSLY.
Wouldn't this tee from Frost look hot as a crop top?
Square tee shirt $69.95
I'm also really excited about this one:
Spots tee shirt $69.95
Although, on second thoughts, I might just be satisfied if some of the hot boys I knew started wearing these for me to look at. I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE LISTENING.
Only picture I liked of myself from Fashion Week, still sitting in my draft posts waiting to be published. WHOOPS. Oh well, why not?

Happy Saturday!
Look, I love these. I loved them when they came down the catwalk and I love looking at them now. But seriously, I think that looking is all anyone can really do. I know for a fact that I could not wear them. The pavements of London are dangerous, you know? And I'm a clumsy girl.
But apparently people don't have the same sense of fear as I do. Stylecaster and Grazia have both reported that there's a huge waiting list for these bad boys. Did I mention that they are ten inches high?TEN. TEN INCHES. That is more or less twice the height of my current ridiculously high shoes.

And apart from my terrible balance and weak ankles, my road has cobbles. And I have to get the tube. And it's nearly ice season, after all. I might never be able to wear them, but I can enjoy looking at La Lady Gaga rocking them. (Of course! She's exactly the right level of fashion insane, non?)
But I do have a shelf that these babies would look absolutely amazing on. I can only assume that that's why everyone is so excited for them. Would you wear them? Could you?
I enjoyed my summaries of new collections in twelve words so much that I'd thought I'd roll out another bunch. What can I say? I'm easily amused by a gimmick!
These previews make me think I'm the wrong side of the ocean.

Basic doesn't always mean boring: these black classics will look good forever.
Pearl Lowe for Peacocks:
Even my soft spot for Peacocks can't make me like this. Sorry!
I'm calling this post "How I Feel About Upcoming Diffusion Fashion Lines In Exactly Twelve Words" which in itself is twelve words, albeit not very catchy. You've already guessed the concept of it, right?
Stella McCartney for Gap Kids:
I wonder if I can get my size 5s into those boots?
Jimmy Choo for H&M:
I didn't expect to like this collection and guess what? I don't!
Kings of Leon for Surface to Air:
Can't see the point of this but hipsters will buy it, right?
Ta-da! Who needs verbosity?
How do you feel about people wearing glasses as a fashion accessory, rather than to aid their vision? Usually I think it's a bit naff and too reminiscent of hipster boys in fake NHS specs. But I'm loving this trio of 1960s cuties over at Sexy People so much that I wish I could pull it off! I'm not wishing for bad vision, but if my eyesight was worse I'd be totally rocking a pair of those harlequin glasses.
And, not surprisingly, I'm also loving Ariel Aberg-Riger's artwork over at Figure 1.
Sorry lovely readers, but WOW might be all I have to say on the matter of this beauty.
Abraxas Rex $8,800 Herkimer Ring available from Barneys.
Righ... just once more and then it's out of my system.
WOW!!!
I've had a UK Vogue subscription for yearrrss -- three? four? -- and my mum always buys me another for my birthday, at the beginning of the year. I'm going home this weekend and I suspect my subscription issue for December is already waiting on my bed for me. I have to admit that I am a little bit excited: December is always the most fantastical of all the months in Vogue calender! And I like a bit of romance as much as anybody...
Cover girl Lara Stone (how nice that it's not Kate Moss or Sienna Miller!) looking less full blown sexxy than usual. I think she's surprisingly versatile and looks amazing here.
Really love this last one. Oh, Lara!
and an amazing shoot by Emma Summerston called Red Alert. (What else?)
But to be honest, despite this issue which looks exciting, I wonder if my love affair with Vogue is ending. I especially hate the More Dash Than Cash features which I feel are a bit, well, patronising. Besides, I love Vogue entirely because it is nothing like me or my actual life. There's nothing wrong with a beautiful bit of fashion daydreaming and this is why I've always liked Vogue. It doesn't have to be relevant to me, my budget or the economy! That's just not the point of Vogue at all.
A few highlights from Decembers past...
December 2006. I saw Hussein Chalayan dress at an exhibit and it was amazing.
Sasha Pivarova shot by Mario Testino for December 2007
Karen Elson and Thom Browne for December 2008
Another one from December 2008, which, like the photo above, is from the spread inspired by Roald Dahl stories - this one, of course, is Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. (On a side note, I really want to go see the Wes Anderson directed movie of Fantastic Mr Fox!)
Maybe I'll ask for a different subscription this year. Any suggestions?
I love kittens, diet coke, celebrity redheads and songs with my name in.
