So Hayley, my lovely friend from uni, asked me to style a retro shoot of glamourously gorgeous ladies she was planning to do for Platform magazine. Sure thing! I said. Great! she said. There's 10 of them. Sizes 6-16. Oh blimey, I said.
But you know what? Having a Narnia-like wardrobe of more vintage dresses than I'd like to admit meant I had something for everyone. And the photos -- that were shot using vintage cameras on old film, no post-processing! -- came out beautifully. Hayley is so clever.
One day I'll show you me in the dress below - aka my joint #1 favourite dress - and tell you the story which involved many patient months of nagging one of my bestest friends (Hi Ellie!) who it didn't fit to let me have it. (Oh wait, that kind of is the story. Whoops.)
(I'm wearing the red dress below today, actually. 40s va-va-voom!)
