Fashionable Things To Do This Weekend


First up is the fabulous Superette swapshop on Thursday night! It's on 7pm til 11pm and I'll be heading down there with loads of my vintage stuff that needs to be gotten rid of to hopefully find something that's perfect for me instead.

Then on Sunday I'll be heading over to The Old Blue Last between 1pm and 6pm to rummage through lots of fashionable ladies clothing, including some from the lovely Loulou.

...and yes, before you ask, my weekend starts on Thursday. School's out tomorrow, hurrah!

Day 3 of Ring Week: Poison Rings! There is no more gothic ring than a Poison Ring. Call it a perfume ring or a locket ring if you want, but everyone knows that they were designed to secretly hold the poison you'd slip in your enemy's drink at the banquet. Stay-ups that will definitely stay up... ...because they're actually tights. Two of my favourite ladies in the blogosphere -- Elizabeth over at White Lightning and Susie of Style Bubble -- both featured these tights in the last couple of days after their appearance in the NY Times. I'm just as smitten by their sexy/pretty/slutty look and I like them even more now I know that they are really tights made to look like stockings. Genius! Get them here soon, or so the website says, for £37. I've never spent so much money on a pair of tights but gosh, am I tempted.
