I headed down to the Comme Des Garcons launch last Thursday to see what was what. I couldn't go til about three in the afternoon, but to my pleasant surprise, there was loads of stuff left. It obviously wasn't as popular as some of the other collections, but there were lots of people milling around the items.
The thing I was most excited about was the perfect navy blue trench. Unfortunately, the size 12 was just a tiny bit too tight over my ample bosom and the 14's shoulders were way off the mark. I find this a lot with clothes though: I'm beginning to think I'm probably a size 13.
Even though I came away empty handed, I've been enjoying watching bloggers wear the pieces they purchased from H&M!
Tavi wears her H&M boys shirt with a vintage cape and looks amazing doing it.
Susie from Style Bubble styled her harem trousers up in many ways - but this boyish but still feminine look was my favourite.
Wearing the same trousers, Style Salvage Steve shows they are extremely versatile and look as good on a boy as they do on a girl. The perfect androgynous item!
Dodidoune from Flickr looks doll-like and delicious in her CDG for H&M blouse.
And finally, this gorgeous lady from Mostly Manila Style may not be wearing CDG for H&M, but she looked so perfectly suited to the post I had to include her. Polka dots? Check. Harem pants? Check. Lace up plimsolls? Check!
I love everything! I just found your blog...very nice! :o)
