Prada Boots: Awesome or Awful?

Awesome or awful? Usually I don't dither like this, but I really cannot decide if these boots are genius or god-awful.

Two-piece Prada boot available here for the bargain price of $1,800 (approximately £1,150) over at Barneys New York.

Help me out, guys. What do you think?

it's hard to decide without seeing a picture of somebody wearing them (i couldn't find one) but i'm guessing they're a no. =)

on reflection i'm thinking maybe with harem pants tucked into the top part? or maybe i've just lost the plot entirely.

Once you go black... Ok, ok. I admit it. I think I'm turning into a goth. Halloween is over but I can't get the idea of lots of leather, studs and gorgeous black lace out of my head.
