I cannot get over this insane dress, seriously. The amazing Jodie over at Ric-Rac presented her secret selvedge project a couple of days ago. And gosh, was it worth the wait!
For those of you who don't know (and I didn't, until I started reading the blog) selvedge is little maker marks on the very edge of fabric. Jodie is obsessed with them and started a collection with the help of some on and offline friends to assemble a massive collection.
And then she made this gobsmacking dress.

That's a heck of a lot of patience, perseverance and of course, sewing. It all makes my head hurt a little just thinking about it, but wow, is the final outcome striking! Congratulations, Jodie. This is truly fantastic.
