I used to dress massively, incredibly girly but the last year or so my look has definitely been hardening up - and I like it. That's not to say my love for 50s dress, puff sleeves or rose prints is going anywhere anytime soon, but it does mean I've been thinking and looking at clothes I wouldn't have even considered would look good on me as little as eighteen months ago.
One of the online stores that is making me want to dress a lot tougher and rather more minimalistic than I usually do is the gorgeous Oak NYC. I'm completely obsessed with browsing the new arrivals lately. The things are expensive, but beautifully tailored and full of little surprises.
But best of all, I'm loving the Complex Geometries clothing at Oak. I've lost count of the number of times I've clicked to look at this amazing tube tee dress, $172 (£109.)
A lot of the items are rather well and truly out of my reach like this stunning Bagabo gown by Eairt, $478 (£303). Still, it's free to look, right?
Oak is also excellently one of those stores that caters just as well to men as is does to woman.

I love theses Heutchy black canvas and leather boots, $488 (£310).
This black and white bubble cardigan, $410 (£260), also by Henrik Vibskov.
(If my boyfriend owned this, it would be permanently stolen by me!)
Chronicles of Never sweatshirt, $194 (£123.)

Wow... I WANT EVERYTHING.
Also: You would buy tights for me? I am touched by your generousity! If you do end up buying them, I'll have to post something back! Although I don't know what you would want from Australia... a hat with dangly corks, possibly?

Loulou: I'm going to post about my dreamcoat soon and it's about £350. Le sigh.
Winona: Aww, thanks! :)
Premauflage: Just about to comment on your blog!
