Fashion Fringe awards one new designer a year with £100,000 of funding to allow them to show a collection at London Fashion Week and also allows the winner access to an gob-smackingly good advisory panel including, amongst others, Muiccia Prada, Marc Jacobs, Natalie Massenet (founder of Net-A-Porter.com) and Anna Wintour.
Eun's Go By A Secret Path label beat other finalists Louise Markey, William Tempest and Sarah Easom to join Basso and Brooke, Erdem, Gavin Dougals and Aminaka Wilmont in the winner's circle.
Donatella Versace, the current chairwoman, said in The Telegraph "Each [finalist] had a different personality. But what I was looking for in the winner was someone who has longevity. A collection might look fabulous today, but can the person keep that creative spark going? That is what we need – creativity and the possibility to develop."
Good luck, Eun! I'm excited to see what you can do next season.
Mm. More fashion sketch pictures, please. If I could have only one request of anybody anywhere, it would be that.
